• candidates must possess a minimum of Two ‘A’ level/IJMB or NCE pass in literature in English and any other social science subjects plus a minimum of ND pass in the various course of studies including core subjects for various course.

Faculty of Agriculture:

• Abu Zaria direct entry requirements for the faculty of agriculture are a minimum of Two ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in chemistry and biology or botany or zoology and HND in agriculture or related field of study with a minimum of credit pass.

Faculty of Engineering:

• For aspiring candidates, they are to possess a minimum of Two ‘A’ passes in mathematics and either physics, chemistry or Agric, or ND upper credit in engineering or physics/mathematics or HND lower credit in the respective field of engineering from an accredited institution.

Faculty Of Education

• ABU Zaria direct entry requirements for this faculty is a minimum of NCE with ‘C’ grade in various fields of study and a minimum of IJBM/A level pass with ‘C’ grade in major fields and ‘D’ in other subjects and ABU diploma in the courses applied for.

What are the Screening Process for DE Candidates?

Ahmadu bello university Zaria has Two phases of screening new or direct entry candidates which are:

This process of screening requires the candidates legit and from a certified institute ‘A’ level results and bio-data of he/she.

Post-admission

Is the process of screening that requires the candidate to provide the Original copies of their:

• state of origin certificate also known as Local government certificate

Applicants are required to pay the sum two thousand naira (N2, 000.00) only as a screening fee. Payment can EITHER be made via Remita using any acceptable debit card (Visa, Verve, and MasterCard) OR by printing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and proceeding to any Commercial Bank for payment.
