Arabic Language Education – Candidates for ALE MUST have any of the following:Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with at least four (4) merit passes in subjects including Arabic and English Language, OR S. I. S. Certificate with four (4) credit passes in subjects including Arabic and English Language, OR SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level with four (4) credit passes in subjects including Arabic and English Language Arabic Language Education
Banking – Five O/level credits including Mathematics, English Language and Economics.
Computer Science – Five (5) ‘O’ level (WAEC/NECO) passes at Credit level in subjects which MUST include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any other two relevant subjects in Science and/or Social Science at not more than two sittings.
Computer System Engineering – Five (5) ‘O’ level (WAEC/NECO) passes at Credit level in subjects which MUST include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other two relevant subjects in Science and/or Social Science at not more than two sittings.
Christian Religious Education – Candidates MUST have:At least four (4) credit passes in subjects including Christian Religious Studies and English Language or GCE, OR At least four (4) merit passes in Teachers’ Grade II Certificate, including Christian Religious Studies and English Language.
Associate ship Certificate in Education (ACE). Early Childhood Education – Candidates MUST have:At least four (4) credit passes in subjects including English Language or SSCE/GCE Certificate, OR At least four (4) merit passes in Teachers’ Grade II Certificate, including English Language.

Integrated Science Education – Candidates for ISE MUST have:Credit in English Language and Mathematics, Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with at least five (5) merit passes, OR SSCE/WASC/GCE ‘O’ level with at least five (5) credit passes, the Merit/Credit passes must include at least 3 of the basic science subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Health Science, General Science, Integrated Science.
Insurance – Five O/level credits including Mathematics, English Language and Economics.
Islamic banking and finance – Five O/level credits including Mathematics, English Language and Economics.
Islamic Education – Candidates MUST possess any of the following:Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with at least four (4) merit passes in subjects including Islamic Studies and English Language, OR S.I.S.C.E with at least four (4) credit passes in subjects including Islamic Studies and English Language, OR SSCE/GCE Certificate with four (4) credit passes in subjects including Islamic Studies and English Language Islamic Education
Law – Five O/level credits including English Language.
Library and Information Science (LIS) – Applicants with any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the Diploma in Library and Information Science Programme:a) At least four credit passes at SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level in subjects including English Language and a minimum of pass in Mathematics obtained at not more than tow sittings, OR Grade II Teachers’ Certificate with at least merit passes in four (4) subjects including English Language and a minimum of pass in Mathematics/Arithmetic Library and Information Science (LIS)

Local Government Studies – A minimum of four O/level credits including English Language.
